Why do I need to pay Blockchain network fee?

Transaction fees are required to support the networks that process and secure cryptocurrency transactions. These fees are not charged by us; instead, they are paid to network participants (such as miners or validators) who confirm transactions and ensure they are recorded on the blockchain in a timely manner. They also help maintain the security and operation of the blockchain network itself.

As new coins and tokens are added, each asset follows the fee structure of its respective blockchain network. The required transaction fee is paid directly to that network.

Instant transfers between Freewallet users are completely free of charge and are not subject to network fees.

Please note that network fees may fluctuate due to cryptocurrency market conditions and changes in blockchain activity. The exact fee amount will always be displayed in the Freewallet app or web wallet before you confirm a transaction.
