This article will be helpful if:

  • You are expecting a transaction to be reflected in your wallet.
  • You sent a transaction a long time ago but it’s still Pending.

There can be a few different reasons why a transaction is Pending, you can follow these steps to check the most common ones yourself:

Step 1: Check if you verified the transaction by email. If you can’t verify it due to a technical issue.

Step 2: Check the status of payouts on our Status page and in-app notifications:

Payout delays’ – Network overload due to cryptocurrency evaluation and high demand caused by relevant and important news. All of these cause a large number of unconfirmed transactions in the network waiting to be inserted into a block and be confirmed. If you’d like to verify the status of your transaction in the blockchain, please see below.

Maintenance’ – Maintenance works are quite common for cryptocurrency wallets offering many different cryptocurrencies due to daily changes in the crypto industry. These works may be planned or unplanned, but you will be always notified by in-app notifications and on our Status page. When maintenance works are over and the transactions processing speed goes back to normal, we remove the notification.

Step 3: Check the network load; see instructions below.

Step 4: If the cause of your pending transaction is none of the above, please contact our Support Center

How to verify the status of your transaction in the blockchain?

Take a look at these two charts. The easiest and most commonly used blockchains are Bitcoin and Ethereum, so we’ll take these as an example:

https://www.blockchain.com/en/btc/unconfirmed-transactions

https://etherscan.io/txsPending

Here, you can see how many unconfirmed transactions there are at the moment. It’s a fairly known issue of the blockchain, and it occurs due to high demand for cryptocurrency.

Remember that there can be other reasons why your transaction is being processed slowly. However, before submitting your support request, please make sure your transaction isn’t stuck in the Bitcoin or Ethereum ‘traffic jam‘.

You can always reach out to us if you have any more questions or experiencing difficulties with your transactions.
