1. Read it Carefully

Please read these Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the Freewallet website and the Freewallet mobile applications, including Ethereum Wallet, Bitcoin Wallet, FantomCoin Wallet, Monero Wallet and any other application for Android and iOS developed and released under Freewallet’s brand name (the "Service", “Freewallet”) operated by Beta payment solutions Inc ("us", "we", or "our"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

2. Respect our intellectual property

Permission is granted to temporarily download the materials (information or software) developed by us for personal, non-commercial use only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  1. modify or copy the materials;
  2. use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
  3. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software developed by us;
  4. remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials;
  5. or transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions. It may also be terminated by Freewallet at any time at its own discretion. Freewallet also reserves the right to pursue firm legal action to protect our intellectual property in connection with the above restrictions.

3. Use freewallet "as is"

The Service developed by us is provided "as is". Freewallet makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, Freewallet does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials or otherwise relating to such materials or on any websites or apps linked to this site.


4. We are not responsible for external sites or services

Hypertext links to external websites or services in no way represent an endorsement from us of this external content. We are not responsible for content found on external websites. If you are concerned about content found on external websites, please get in touch with the administrators of those sites. Use care when visiting external websites to keep your computer safe from viruses and malware.

5. Bugs and errors may occur

The materials appearing on Freewallet's website, in Customer Support or apps could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Freewallet.org does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current. Freewallet may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice. Freewallet does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.

Freewallet makes no representations about the accuracy or completeness of historical Digital Currency (cryptocurrencies, bitcoin, altcoins) price data provided by the Service.

6. Our privacy policy

Our Privacy Policy is located at https://freewallet.org/privacy. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share your personal information. By accepting these Terms you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

7. Terms may be changed

Freewallet may revise these Terms for its website at any time without notice. By using the Service, you are agreeing to be bound by the current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

8. Our service

Freewallet provides a way to store, use, and manage the Digital Currencies, using our wallet service, which we call Freewallet interface, and the cold storage service, which we call Cold Storage. Our Service may evolve over time. This means we may make changes, replace, or discontinue (temporarily or permanently) our Service at any time for any reason with or without notice. In this case, you may be prevented from accessing or using our Services. If, in our sole discretion, we decide to permanently discontinue our Service, we will provide you with notice via our website and app. The Service includes the following:

Registration and creating an account

User can create an account by using different methods: using social networks and email-password pair. Email provided within the registration is used to identify the user and verification is not required. Email provided by the user after registration is used for communicational purposes only. If email is verified by the user, it becomes an additional identifier. A verified email doesn’t become a login email. All emails are collected and may be used to inform user on Service updates. By providing your email address you are agreeing to receive these emails.

When creating an account, the Service generates and stores a private and public cryptographic key pair that you can use to send and receive coins. The public key is your wallet address and can be shared to complete transactions. The private key uniquely matches the wallet address and is only used by the Service to authorize transfers to and from the wallet address.

Access to your funds is high-priority

The balance displayed by the Service in the user interface of your application is accurate and represents the current amount of funds you are able to spend or withdraw. We guarantee your access to your funds within 7 business days.

Cryptocurrency transactions

Digital Currency value is highly volatile and buying, selling, and holding Digital Currencies involves a great deal of risk. Freewallet cannot and does not guarantee the value of any Digital Currencies. The Digital Currencies consensus network verifies and confirms transactions that you submit via the Service, and Freewallet cannot and does not confirm, cancel, or reverse coin-to-coin transactions, but can only confirm the Digital Currency network’s completion of a transaction. The Digital Currency network is operated by a network of independent third parties. Transaction requests submitted to the Blockchain via the Service will automatically be completed or rejected by the network. Freewallet is not responsible for errors or omissions made by you or any third party in connection with any cryptocurrency transaction initiated via the Service. The Service enables you to submit your transaction requests for confirmation to the network. Freewallet has no control over the network and cannot and does not ensure that any transaction request you submit via the Service will be completed. Transaction requests submitted via the Service may not be completed, or may be delayed, by the network. When you initiate a transaction request via the Service, you authorize us to submit your transaction request to the network in accordance with the directions you provide via the Service.

Each transaction requires a network fee payment (“Service Fee”). Freewallet reserves the right to adjust the network and any applicable waivers. We will always notify you of the Service Fee for each transaction.

Recovering cross-chain transactions

Under a cross-chain transaction we understand a deposit of one coin made to an another coin's address on another network. Both are based on the common blockchain technology and use the same address format. Such transactions are not valid and cannot be completed properly because of the difference between cryptocurrencies despite their technological similarities. Cross-chain transactions may include, but are not limited to:

  • BTC transactions sent to BCC addresses and vice versa;
  • USDT transactions sent to BTC addresses and vice versa, etc.

We will attempt to recover coins sent cross-chain to Freewallet addresses within 90 days of such transactions made. Recovering coins sent cross-chain is a complex procedure that requires a significant amount of time and resources. Not all cross-chain transactions can be recovered; the time frame for the recovery of a specific transaction can be changed at Freewallet's discretion.

There's a similar policy regarding transactions of ARDOR, STEEM, NEM or any other currencies that require both a wallet address and a memo/message/tag/payment id to be credited. If such a memo/message/tag/payment id is missing or incorrect, the coins will be recovered within 15 days of such transactions made.

No additional fees will be applied to recovered coins, neither will Freewallet users be required to cover any corresponding expenses: all recovery operations are performed free of charge.

There are different networks and blockchains

If you are using our transactional service inside one Blockchain (e.g. Bitcoin-to-Bitcoin transaction) no additional services are used. If you are sending coins from one chain to another (e.g. Bitcoin-to-Ethereum) you acknowledge and agree that the transaction will be processed through a third-party exchange service. In Freewallet the exchange process is called “Smart Pay In” and “Smart Pay Out”.

“Smart Pay In” and “Smart Pay Out”

Freewallet uses third-party service provided by Changelly.com through API to exchange cryptocurrencies. When depositing or transferring coins alternative to the main currency of your wallet you acknowledge and agree that the transaction will be processed through the third-party exchange service with additional fees for the transaction. The exchange fee and exchange rate may be provided by support request or displayed in the user interface.

There is a minimum exchangeable transaction for each cryptocurrency pair. The minimum amount is provided by the exchange service. IF YOUR TRANSACTION IS LESS THAN A REQUIRED MINIMUM, YOUR WALLET WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

There are cases when your exchange request is more than the required minimum, however, it cannot be completed due to any technical issues, extreme network conditions or any unforeseen circumstances on the exchange service's side. Freewallet along with Changelly.com will attempt to retrieve the original transaction and refund it to your Freewallet address. If you don't have a Freewallet address of the original coin, you will be asked to set up one. The time frame for retrieving specific transactions is set at Freewallet's discretion; however, refunds will be processed within 60 days upon submitting your request for them.

Please note that network fees may be applied to the refund amounts: they go entirely to miners ensuring that your transaction is included in one of the new blocks and supports the network itself. No part of such fees goes to Freewallet.

By sending your coins on the provided by Freewallet wallet address (both in app and on your personal Smart Pay In web page) you authorize us to submit your transaction request for exchange. Further, you acknowledge and agree that the transaction requests you submit via the Service may be substantially delayed or may not be completed.

Freewallet uses third-party service provided by Indacoin Limited (Headquartered in London Las Suite 5 Percy Street, Fitzrovia, London, W1T 1DG. Company Number 8924450) to exchange monetary funds to cryptocurrencies. When using their services by following appropriate link you acknowledge and agree that

  1. the transaction will be processed through the third-party exchange service in accordance with their rules, and
  2. you authorize us to submit your account details to this third party.

Freewallet may change the third-party exchange provider without any notifications.


Freewallet users are required to verify their email addresses to be able to perform outgoing transactions. We strive to keep our users' funds safe, and this measure is intended to enhace the security of user's funds.

If you already have a verified email on your Freewallet account, you can withdraw funds with no limitations. To remove limitations, just complete the brief verification process.

Third-Party Payments

Freewallet is not responsible or liable for, the delivery, quality, safety, legality of any goods or services purchased or sold to or from a third party (including other users of Freewallet). Freewallet is not responsible for completion of transactions between buyers or sellers.

Advanced Protocols

We do not currently support any advanced protocol which supplements or interacts with any Digital Currency Protocol such as metacoins, colored coins, DAO tokens, reputation tokens, other tokens. Freewallet does not detect whether transactions associated with your Freewallet Account involve any such use. Do not use your Freewallet Account to initiate any instruction or transfer involving an advanced protocol. Freewallet is not responsible for any loss which may result from such use and is not responsible for allocation or transfer of any gain associated with such use.

Suspension, Termination, and Cancellation

Freewallet may suspend, restrict, terminate or cancel your access to the Services due to:

  1. Maintenance work; or
  2. We reasonably suspect you of using your Freewallet Account in connection with a Prohibited Use; or
  3. Use of your Freewallet Account is subject to any pending litigation, investigation, or government proceeding and/or we perceive a heightened risk of legal or regulatory non-compliance associated with your Account activity; or
  4. Our service partners (third-party services) are unable e to support your use; or
  5. You requested the account cancellation.


It is the user's responsibility to decide whether any taxes apply to the transactions you conduct through the Freewallet Services, and to withhold, report and remit the relevant funds to the appropriate tax authorities. You may view your transaction history in your Freewallet Account.

Unclaimed Property

If Freewallet has funds in an account in your name and has no record of your use of the Service for several years, Freewallet will try to locate you at the address(es) shown in our records. If we are then unable to contact you, applicable law may require Freewallet to report these funds as unclaimed property to the appropriate jurisdiction. Freewallet reserves the right to deduct a dormancy fee or other administrative charges from such unclaimed funds, as permitted by law.

9. Entire Agreement

These Terms shall constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of our Service and shall supersede all previous agreements between you and us in relation to your use of our Service.
