How to buy Ethereum in the web wallet

In this case, Freewallet will be the wallet used by default. For the web version, all you need to do is to log into the wallet, go to the “Buy with a card” tab, select Ethereum, select the currency you are going to pay for it with (USD, EUR, etc.), and enter the amount. Here you can also choose who will be the payment provider for the transaction - Moonpay or Simplex.   1. What are the differences between buying Ethereum through the widget and buying Ethereum in the wallet?

    If you are using the widget, you’ll need to enter your wallet address yourself. It doesn’t have to be The Freewallet Family wallet. Also, if you are using the widget, your default payment provider will automatically be Simplex.

    If you buy Ethereum inside Freewallet, you don’t need to enter your wallet address, this will be done automatically. Freewallet will be the wallet used by default.

    If you are using the web wallet or mobile multicurrency wallet, you’ll be able to choose between Simplex and Moonpay as your payment providers. If you are using the mobile Ethereum wallet, the default provider will be Simplex.

    For Simplex, the limits are $20000 per day and $50000 per month including fees. The minimum amount is $50. Hence, these are the limits on how much you can buy if you are using the widget or the dedicated Ethereum wallet, as well as if you are using the web version / mobile multicurrency wallet version and choose Simplex as your payment provider there.

    For Moonpay, the limits depend on the account level, which is issued in accordance with the degree of account verification. You can find more information on account levels and their respective limits here. Hence, if you are using the web wallet or mobile multicurrency wallet and have chosen Moonpay as your payment provider, the purchase limits will depend on your account level.

    Please note that daily and monthly limits are counted not as calendar day and month, but as 24-hour and 31-day periods from the date of purchase, respectively.

    To get crypto, you have to prepare some personal information. We are required to take these precautions to comply with “Know Your Customer” (KYC) and “Anti-Money Laundering” (AML) regulations.
