Freewallet provides a wide range of security tools offered, but login information is a personal responsibility of every user, and often a security pitfall. If the access to your account/email is compromised, an intruder can request changing your email to confirm unauthorized transactions. Please note that once a transaction was accepted by the network, it is irreversible.

We aim at preventing this situation, that’s why you cannot change your email in the app, but our support team can do it for you.

When you request changing your email we need to make sure that the request was initiated by the real owner of the wallet. This procedure requires providing the account information that only the owner knows, such as the approximate date it was registered, for example.
