Bitcoin Cash Hard Fork is scheduled for 15h of November at approximately 12:00 PM (UTC). The following update might lead to BCH’s split into two tokens: Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA) and Bitcoin Cash Node (BCHN).
1. Will Freewallet support the BCH Hard Fork?
Yes, Freewallet supports the event and takes all measures to complete the split as smooth as possible for our users.
2. BCH Deposits & Withdrawals
Our technical team will pause deposits and withdrawals of BCH on November 15th, 2020, at 10:00 AM (UTC) until the update is complete. Your funds will remain safe during the update.
3. Will the Hard Fork result in the creation of two chains?
The following update may result in a chain split and the creation of two competing tokens, Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA) and Bitcoin Cash Node (BCHN). A final decision on which chain will carry the BCH ticker on Freewallet will be made after the fork is fully completed.
4. What happens if the new coin Bitcoin Cash Node (BCHN) is not created?
In this case, the Freewallet technical team will reopen BCH deposits and withdrawals in the shortest time possible.
