Ethereum London fork is scheduled for Thursday, August 5. In anticipation of this step, investors are positive and Ethereum price has notably surged.
London fork is a major technical upgrade conducted by the Ethereum Foundation to improve the transaction fee and gas refunds. The technical name of the upgrade is EIP-1559 and it synchronizes with the block number 12965000.
