Why is my wallet address changing?

As we strive to provide the best service, we constantly update our software to increase your account and transaction security. It requires updates for some Freewallet addresses.

What should I do to perform the transaction successfully?

If you want to receive the transaction to your payin or smart exchange address, please make sure to check if the address is still available in the app right before the transaction you’re performing.
Check in-app notifications for information regarding recent Freewallet updates.

What if I send funds to the old wallet address by mistake?

If you send your funds to an address generated before Oct 18, 2023, and it is already unavailable (e.g., re-use the address from your emails or previous transactions), we will not be able to retrieve them.
