The Bitcoin SV team has launched version 1.0.0 of the Bitcoin SV Node Implementation. The upgrade supports a Genesis hard fork which will be launched on February 04, 2020.
Freewallet has got you covered and already supports the hard fork so you shouldn’t worry about this.
How will it affect me?
The update is aimed to restore “the original” Bitcoin protocol. The first and main change is that BSV has a new address format. Now it is similar to the original Bitcoin address.
Freewallet has already generated new addresses for every BSV holder using our wallets. Please, use new addresses to receive funds on your account and update it everywhere you use it for depositing your funds to Freewallet: mining pools, bounty programs, etc.
