Recently we have updated our software to increase account security. It required that some of the outdated BTC, BCH, BTG, DASH, DOGE, LTC, ZEC, ETH and USDT addresses should be updated. So we changed BTC, BCH, BTG, DASH, DOGE, LTC, ZEC, ETH and USDT addresses automatically on June 1st.

What should I do?

As we already said, we changed only outdated BTC, BCH, BTG, DASH, DOGE, LTC, ZEC, ETH and USDT addresses. We informed our customers on their emails about their new address.

So, to check whether your deposit address was updated follow these rules:

  • Check if you received the email about the update
  • Go to “Recieve” section of your wallet and check your address there

If you have got a new address, please, update it everywhere you use it for depositing your funds to Freewallet: mining pools, bounty programs, etc.

What if I won’t update my addresses

If you will deposit funds on outdated address after June 1st, you won’t be able to receive them. We will make a free refund for everyone who faces it for the first time. But afterwards, you’ll have to pay $30 fee for every withdrawal transaction from the outdated address as it is a resource-consuming process for us.
